Out of the Desert and Into the Future
By the Persian Gulf, Sharjah is the capital of the emirate of the same name – the only one in the UAE to have a coastline on 2 gulfs.
Although not as internationally famous as its neighbour Dubai, Sharjah still has an exciting mix of old and new. The skyline is a backdrop of skyscrapers and many modern public buildings were designed by the ruling sheikh.
In sharp contrast is the Sharjah Heritage Area, the city’s oldest part. Here historic houses line pedestrian streets boasting some of the best museums, including the excellent Islamic Museum. On its northern edge is 19th-century Al Hisn Fort, an Arabic-style building once home to the ruling family.
Shopping in Sharjah is as big as in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Its shopping centres include Ansar Mall and Mega Mall, while a more traditional experience can be found in Souk al-Arsah and the Blue Souk, so called because of its blue tiles and roof. Across the park is King Faisal Mosque, a gift from the Saudi king.
Outside the city is a desert park, camel racing track and Sharjah Airport, the only place where you can drink alcohol. Find nearby hotels and apartments on Booking.com.

I've reserved a room at a supposed 4-star hotel, but it's been a terrible experience. The room reeks of mold, there are no towels, the floors are dirty, and the bed is discolored. It's impossible to sleep, especially with my 9-month-old baby. This is unacceptable, and this situation has been extremely disappointing for both me and my family.
On February 29, 2024, I was informed by the hotel that the remaining portion of the payment for my stay would be refunded to my account. However, despite this assurance and the passing of approximately two months, I have yet to receive the refund.
I must emphasize the urgency of this matter, as I checked out of the hotel on the same day I made the initial payment. Due to the unsatisfactory conditions of the hotel, it was imperative for me to vacate the premises immediately.
Given the delay in receiving the promised refund, I kindly request immediate action to rectify this situation.

The staff are professional and to the point.
The staff are professional and to the point. You get the exact answer to a question and this always makes them serve you faster. I was happy with the room and the service and the location, it is also very convenient for all your needs like supermarkets, food stores, mosque etc. The car park too is very user friendly and accessible directly to the hotel lift. The only issue was that on my second day I found that many cars had been parked without any sequence and quite a few cars were blocked by cars parked across. I think there are many who are not guest in the hotel who also park because there is no security person at the gate and it opens for any car that comes in front of it. This is a point that the hotel management can take into consideration.

The Sharjah Corniche, with its verdant greenery, serene canal, and stunning seaside views, offered a captivating blend of natural beauty and urban convenience. The abundance of restaurants and readily available parking further enhanced the experience, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll or a delightful meal.
I liked the hotel location overlooking the corniche in Sharjah, liked the staff especially the ladies they were very polite, understanding and helpful when we needed to extend our one night to 3 nights at same room at same rate due to some emergency we encountered and we had to stay longer. Also they were very kind to help and delaying our checkout for 3 hours free of charge. Big thank you the ladies.
I liked the quietness in the hotel and the staff politeness. The hotel have big parking space. And shops are nearby.
A very good hotel which we snapped at a very affordable price as we visited in the off season. Given the current rates around the world, it's certainly worth more than what we paid for. You are not deceived by photos here. What you see is what you get. Or even more. Staff were nice and forthcoming (let me mention a guy from Bangladesh whose name I think is Damel or something similar). If we ever returned to Sharjah, Red Castle would definitely be the first place to start our accommodation from.
The hotel staff was friendly and approachable.
We received sweets and fruit basket as gift on EID day.
The rooms were neat, clean and spacious.
The hotel is located in one of the prime location of Sharjah. Facilities like restaurant, grocery stores are available nearby.
ADNOC petrol station and kid favorites McDonald, Burger king, Pizza hut is available on walkable distance.
The property is huge, so guest interested in clicking pictures can enjoy various location.
I've stayed generally before and it's such a lovely family atmosphere and most of the staff are really well mannered, helpful and happy to help. In addition the beach access is just the best, you won't find something that is so lovely in dubai, because this is small and intimate. Its a family hotel, old quaint building, normal amenities but somehow the staff and beach just make me keep coming back!! Thanks for a lovely stay!
-The breakfast and the dinner were excellent, fresh food, with high quality, good variety for all tastes ( italian, indian, french, egyptian cuisines)
A special thank to the Chef !
-the view on the water from the lagoon suite was amazing
-the valet parking
-the location near from Dubai and Sharjah downtown
-the lounge on the floor 16
-cooking workshop for Kids with a Chef
-prayer room in the hotel (floor 16)
It is a newly renovated hotel. The location is really the best. Close to the Sharjah Corniche and beach areas and in the heart of Sharjah. I believe some work is going on related to the renovation of the hotel and it seems good. Rooms are good enough for 2 people and 1 or 2 kids. The Staff is really cooperative and supportive. The area is quiet, away from the traffic sounds of the road. Overall a good stay!!
Everything was so perfect and extremely awesome stay with comfort. This hotel is just in center and every part of sharjah is easily accessible, also it's very near to Dubai and Public transport is available at ease. Rooms are awesome, Clean and property is well maintained. Staff is very good and polite. We enjoyed our 20 days stay at this property and it feel like home.
The room is spacious, executive life feeling compare to over priced hotel around Dubai,Dxb.
for you to enjoy dubai, its a must to have a car, better hotels are located outside dubai, they are 15 to 20 minutes from the Airport. this hotel serve it all, i checked out to another hotel after 6 days, i regretted i left the hotel for a down town hotel.
